A hospital in NY state will no longer deliver babies after staffers resign over coronavirus vaccine mandate

165 hospital staffers, about 27 percent of the workforce, remain unvaccinated. Seventy-three percent of those unvaccinated staffers provide clinical services at the hospital.

The Sept. 25 pause is scheduled two days before the state’s deadline for health-care workers to be vaccinated if they want to continue working, according to the Watertown Daily Times.

Officials with the Lewis County Health System did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

That seals the deal, if their was a real Pandemic no way would Hospitals let this happen? So for the last #18 Month's they were all Okay? I wonder why they didn't apply for Religious Exemptions?

Biden had to do something to take the Focus off his Admin total Incompetence with the Afghanistan Withdrawal. Never in my life would I thought I see the day, USA would leave American Citizens behind in a War Zone. It goes to show that the Govt can care less about you? Very sad what the USA has become, the Greatest Generation must be rolling over in their graves.

This is good news for the great reset proponents. They don’t like babies or old people or poor people.. or any people for matter. All they seem to care about are their apps.

In all seriousness, do you think this is a work force replacement? Getting rid of the older more qualified higher paid pain in the arses for HR and replacing them with fresh dumb young scared to death of their own shadow recent grads?

Replacing boomer with gen z?

I like how that hospital CEO says "essential services are not at risk". Because maternity care is not an essential service?

Bear in mind that there are plenty of regional hospitals that have decided to stop offering maternity services over the past 20 years or so. It's all been about economics.
