72% of unvaccinated workers say they will quit if not given an exemption/ WaPo

...Currently, just under 2 in 10 American workers say their employer requires people who come into work be vaccinated (18 percent). Among workers whose employer lacks a mandate, about 3 in 10 are unvaccinated. Asked what they would likely do if their employer imposed a mandate, 16 percent of that group say they would get vaccinated while 35 percent would ask for a medical or religious exemption and 42 percent would quit. If no exemption was given, 72 percent of unvaccinated workers say they would quit their job rather than get vaccinated...

The Post-ABC poll was conducted by telephone Aug. 29-Sept. 1 among a random national sample of 1,006 adults, with 75 percent reached on cellphone and 25 percent on landline. Overall results have a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points. The error margin is 5.5 points for results among the sample of 474 workers who are not self-employed and 7.5 points among the sample of 229 public school parents.

Here in Oregon -- which has imposed far-reaching edicts for compulsory injections that affect employees in schools, healthcare, and government -- I am stepping back from the teaching job that I love love love, rather than be complicit in any way with this totalitarian corruption. Fortunately I have the means to do so. Many others don't and are deeply conflicted, by their need to provide for the finances and health-insurance coverage for their families. There are enormous pressures being brought to bear on these citizens' consciences and well-being. As much as I would wish for everyone to say "no" and hold the line, I do feel empathy for their position. The one thing I would suggest everyone keep in mind though, is that after they get you, they are coming for the children next.

Don’t quit! Make them fire you.

Agreed. Force employers' hands and make them fire you for refusing this invasive and irreversible medical procedure. It's no small thing to replace an experienced employee. I think a good many of these companies and organizations are hoping to bluff their way to 100% compliance with vaccine mandates, and never have to make the hard decision to let go of valuable staff just over an injection.

Another thing to bear in mind: once the vaccine has been injected, that action cannot be undone. We still have no data on the long-term effects of these vaccines. The short- and mid-range data for the mRNA vaccines are sobering, however, and a sane reading of the mechanisms of action foretells some pretty concerning, immune-mediated effects over time.
