A panel for the met last week, and will meet again Oct. 26, to discuss granting emergency authorization for use of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in lower doses for children ages 5 to 11. The CDC is allowing states to order doses before the vaccines are authorized.
All pharmacies in every U.S. state are authorized to give COVID-19 vaccinations to children as long as the doses were created and labeled as for children under 12.
