Boris Johnson jokes about 'feeding humans to animals' to 'redress the sad imbalance' on the planet to baffled children as he hosts bizarre 'Kids Lobby' briefing in Downing Street
The PM was taking questions with WWF UK's Tanya Steele in No9 Downing Street when they faced a question about the balance of nature on Earth
Ms Steele told the children: 'I think we need to bring nature back... Our planet, 97 per cent of the mass of mammals on this planet is humans and our animals, our domestic animals. Just 3 per cent is left for the wild.'
The Prime Minister said it was 'so sad' and added: 'We could feed some of the human beings to the animals.'
Ms Steele replied: 'We could have a vote later and ask if there's any candidates.'
Mr Johnson also suggested that people in the future will eat more meat substitutes instead of the real thing.

Nah. He just never grew up. That's a schoolboy's sense of humour on display. It happens whenever he tries to make a joke in public.
He's certifiably a buffoon. But even with his dubious "wit," he'll have no luck convincing Brits to eat shmeat!
I wonder how many people could Boris "Buffoon" Johnson's carcass feed?
Correction: That's a *public* schoolboy's sense of humour - "public school" being a paradoxical term for private schools in the UK. The more famous examples include Eton and Harrow - the germination beds (or perhaps that should be fermentation tanks) of political and financial power in the UK. It's boarding-school humour.
As for how many animals Boris' sorry carcass could feed - more than enough!
