Circulating SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine Antigen Detected in the Plasma of mRNA-1273 Vaccine Recipients

SARS-CoV-2 proteins were measured in longitudinal plasma samples collected from 13 participants who received two doses of mRNA-1273 vaccine. 11 of 13 participants showed detectable levels of SARS-CoV-2 protein as early as day one after first vaccine injection. Clearance of detectable SARS-CoV-2 protein correlated with production of IgG and IgA.
I think I forgot to blog this when it came out 3 weeks ago. Harvard study. IgG reaches high levels at about 2 weeks, so the disappearance of Spike and S1 does not mean the body has stopped producing it. It could simply be that it is being removed from the circulation more efficiently.
This is very disturbing. It looks like the mRNA vaccines do as promised: produce the desired Spike protein. But the vaccines do not do what was also promised: stop after a short time. I seem to recall the claim of hours to 1-2 days being made.
Furthermore, since people are not given a specific dose of antigen (Spike protein) but instead are given the code for Spike, will some people make many orders of magnitude more than others? Are they the people with blood clots and myocarditis? The bizarre neurological effects? Potency is something the FDA is supposed to assess. Too much potency is poison.
Why did the FDA and CDC refuse to discuss the dose of vaccine for different ages and weights of children at the VRBPAC meeting on June 10?

Thanks as always for the interesting info., Dr. Nass. Too bad that this study was partially funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the "Welcome" Trust (should be "Wellcome," I think), and NIH/NIAID (page 9). Hoping that a "cleaner" and larger study on this will follow....

Wow, Dr. Malone has the same concern I do about the unkinown amount of spike protein that is being produced. Suggest you read what he had to say, abo e.
I think this could be the regulatory mistake that sinks FDA's decisionmaking as well as these vaccines.
