Fauci, king of mixed messages, pretends the federal government knew nothing about Pfizer applying to authorize boosters/RT

Ever get the feeling that Fauci, Walensky and the rest are playing with you?

"White House Covid-19 adviser Anthony Fauci said Pfizer gave the feds no warning before announcing that it would seek emergency approval for a third vaccine dose, maintaining that, for now, booster shots are unnecessary."

If that was true, why did the CDC ask its advisory committee to consider giving boosters early in the fall on June 23?  If booster doses have not received an emergency use authorization by the fall, how could they be given in the fall?

However, the health adviser [Fauci] also noted that studies into additional doses are ongoing within the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the National Institutes of Health, suggesting they have not been ruled out for good...

Fauci, however, said the announcement took him by surprise. He told Blitzer that Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla even contacted him to apologize for not giving a heads up. While the CNN host suggested US health officials might not be “on the same page” with pharma firms when it comes to booster shots, Fauci insisted that is not the case. 

“Wolf, we are on the same page,” he said, later adding, “It appears to be a mixed message, but it’s not. The message is very clear: The CDC and FDA say if you’ve been fully vaccinated, at this point in time you do not need a booster shot.”
