WHO says no deaths reported from Omicron yet as Covid variant spreads/ The Guardian

Here's hoping that omicron turns out to be little worse than a cold.  It has been detected in 38 countries and many US states, but no deaths reported yet--and we know the fearmongers are looking for deaths.

As others have said, and I also thought:  wouldn't it be great if this is a mild strain and we all just need to get it in the expectation it provides some cross immunity for the strains causing more severe illness.  Wouldn't that be nice?  But we still need to know whether it causes the severe late sequellae of SARS-2.

Look at all the new mutations and their locations.  Look how quickly it spreads:

Are the travel restrictions and lockdowns being imposed so we don't all catch a mild case and thereby obtain some immunity?

It does look like it came from a lab.  Did it fall?  Or was it pushed?

Dr. Malone points out that the preliminary data available suggest that this strain can defeat both recovered immunity and vaccine-induced immunity.  So let's hope it mainly causes a cold.  Be aware that cases of Covid that occur in the recovered have generally been mild.  From the Guardian:

"The Omicron variant has been detected in at least 38 countries but no deaths have yet been reported, the World Health Organization has said, amid warnings that it could damage the global economic recovery.

The United States and Australia became the latest countries to confirm locally transmitted cases of the variant, as Omicron infections pushed South Africa’s total cases past 3 million.

The WHO has warned it could take weeks to determine how infectious the variant is, whether it causes more severe illness and how effective treatments and vaccines are against it...

The new variant could also slow global economic recovery, just as the Delta strain did, the International Monetary Fund chief, Kristalina Georgieva, said on Friday.

“Even before the arrival of this new variant, we were concerned that the recovery, while it continues, is losing somewhat momentum,” she said. “A new variant that may spread very rapidly can dent confidence.”

A preliminary study by researchers in South Africa, where the variant was first reported on 24 November, suggests it is three times more likely to cause reinfections compared with the Delta or Beta strains..."

  1. John Campbell recaps the latest information from SA health authorities for hospitals around Pretoria - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Paq17X6ucQ&t=386s

They have evidence of exponential spread with pervasive infection over several weeks analyzed, but hospitalized cases are milder with short stays. Interestingly many cases discovered in hospitals were 'incidental', they were admitted for other reasons. And many who were treated weren't showing respiratory symptoms. There's apparently been no increase for patients with COVID as their primary diagnosis.

He calls out the potential that this may be the infection Meryl's hoping for - fast spreading but w/ mild morbidity, easy treatability and very low mortality.

Gavin Newsom is evil- he is after all a WEF "Young Leader". But replacing him probably won't fix anything.

The link below has 2 important videos: one describes how Vaccine Passports will lead to absolute tyranny, which is the main purpose of the vaccines; the other purpose is to reduce UBI expenses :( The 2nd video is a Catherine Austin Fitts interview in which she describes how the "official" US government is no longer in control- which is why there's no stopping condition for the vaccines. The Deep State (globalist cabal) has taken full control. Our so-called "leaders" go along with it because of threats, blackmail or because they can be easily replaced.

Cases of the recently detected coronavirus variant omicron have been identified in over 40 countries and 17 states as of Sunday — numbers “likely to rise” in the United States, according to the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

    Key Facts

The state of Georgia confirmed its first omicron case in an Atlanta resident who had recently traveled from South Africa, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Sunday.

California was the first state to report a case of omicron Wednesday, and others have subsequently been found in Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky we here in the US we are making sure Ivermectin is not easy to get, imposing hurdles for Ivermectin is important as you know because it is simply too cheap to have such efficacy if properly utilized is not the new normal building back better we want to see at the CDC. Please help us prevent easy access to Ivermectin treatments report to the CDC if Ivermectin is easily available in your area instead of preferred expensive less efficacy treatments. Thank you and remember, we are in this together.

  4. Dr. Mobeen Syed has given a good review of the paper by A.J. Venkatakrishnan el. al. which the five petaled Venn diagram (shown in this blog) comes from. He explains with little hand drawn doodles, how a co-infection by a seasonal cold virus may have altered the Cov-2 virus via template switching. He also puts forward his opinion as to why this variant doesn’t cause cytotoxic storms.

He hasn’t addressed the issue that the pathogenic spike protein is still there but lets hope that because the immune system appears to be better at tackling this variant, that it does so before too much damage has been wrought. I’d imaging the patient would still benefit from treatment to neutralize and clear the spike component from the system.
I wonder if in the absence of over stimulation of the immune system with this new variant also means that there will be a corresponding absence of shortness of breath which starts around day eight of the first symptoms appearing. For any improvement in breathing, is put down to treatment with anti-histamines.

  5. With so many mutations in the S1 spike protein alone, it's entirely possible that the omicron variant has mutated itself into having a less pathogenic spike protein. The ligand-receptor relationship is often described as a lock-and-key type mechanism, in which shape and fit are critical. Change the shape of a key enough, and there comes a point at which it no longer fits well enough into the lock to open it.
