How can this be? All residents and staff vaccinated for Covid, then all test positive and 7 die, after zero prior cases

Can it be true?  I have put out requests for more information.  I have never heard of a situation where EVERYONE in a large group catches an illness.  Some people always avoid it.  Could something in the vaccine be leading to positive tests? Most tests look for other parts of the virus, not the spike protein, which is coded by the vaccine's mRNA.  What could possibly be going on?

"7 die at Spanish care home after getting Pfizer Covid-19 jab as ALL residents test positive for virus, second doses still to come

All 78 residents at a nursing home in central Spain have tested positive for Covid-19 after being given their first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, and at least seven people have died, staff confirmed on Monday.

Most of those who succumbed to the virus had existing conditions, according to Spanish news agency EFE, while four residents are currently hospitalized, and 12 staff have also been infected.

The huge outbreak is at the Lagartera Residence for the Elderly in the Toledo area, southwest of the capital Madrid.

The home’s 33 staff must now present a negative PCR test before they start work, and a spokesperson said that health measures to contain the spread of the virus are in place “at all times.”

On January 13, all residents, including nursing home staff, were vaccinated with the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, and after six days the first symptoms began to appear in ten of the residents,” they said in a statement.

Some members of staff began to go off sick with the virus five days after being inoculated.

On January 21, management approved the decision to test all residents of the home and quarantine them to their rooms, with families informed of the move.

The testing results, on January 25, showed that all the residents had caught the virus apart from one, who then also tested positive at a later date.

In December, Spain’s Supreme Court ordered an investigation into deaths at nursing homes, which were a disturbing feature of the early pandemic, making up 69 percent of all Covid-19 fatalities between April 6 and June 20.

The Lagartera Residence for the Elderly insisted the current outbreak was its first of the pandemic, having remained virus-free during the first two waves of infections.

The next doses of the vaccine are to be administered at the home on February 3, and the next round of PCR tests will be carried out on February 5.

Across Spain, almost 1.5 million people have been injected with either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

More than 58,000 people have died from Covid-19 in Spain and the country has registered more than 2.7 million cases of the virus in total."

UPDATE Feb. 21:  Children's Health Defense has collected more information about the surge in cases and deaths in ursing homes following Covid vaccinations.

  1. Dear Meryl, here's a wild hypothesis of mine. If Pfizer has also put into their vaccine a small mRNA that is exactly complementary to the PCR primers (especially to the E gene primers that almost all PCR kits have), then almost everyone who does the vaccine will test positive during the first few days after the jab. Therefore, any side-effects from the vaccine, including death, will not be considered vaccine side-effects but COVID-19 symptoms since there will be a positive PCR to prove the "infection".

Based on the fact that Pfizer refuses to fully disclose what's in their injection, and that it has been previously convicted for fraud, I won't be surprised if they have implemented such a scheme.

  2. John, that is a great thought. The PCR tests FDA authorized apparently use a variety of primers from several genes, though I think you are correct that the E gene is mostly used for primers.

Do you know where to get information on these specifics?

I wondered if maybe the residents had been given rapid antigen tests that picked up part of the spike S protein coded by the mRNA.
I started looking up rapid tests and found 3 for which their manufacturers identified the antigen the test detected. All 3 detected nucleocapsid (N protein). But several other manufacturers, Roche being one example, failed to specify which antigen(s) their test detected.

This is very important to sort out. Thanks for your help!

  3. I don't think that this elderly care home in Spain is an isolated case. There have been multiple reports over the past weeks of people testing positive and even dying after the injection.

In Israel, 6.6% of the injected who did a test during the first three weeks after the jab were found positive. That's a staggering 12.400 people who were positive out of 189.000 vaccinated and tested. At first, I thought that this simply proves that the jab is ineffective, since the infection rate of the vaccinated was similar to that of the general population. https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/thousands-of-israelis-tested-positive-for-coronavirus-after-first-vaccine-shot-1.9462478

But then came reports from some of Italy's nursing homes where more than 90% of the residents and staff tested positive after the injection. https://www.secondopianonews.it/news/cronaca/2021/01/25/strage-di-anziani-in-rsa-a-como-21-morti-erano-stati-vaccinati-positivi-85-ospiti-e-54-sanitari.html (translated through DeepL).

A similar thing happened in neighboring Greece where 40 out of 80 residents and staff in an elderly care home were found positive, just a few days after their injection. https://crashonline.gr/epikairotita/1480703/mystiria-pragmata-40-krousmata-koronaiou-se-oiko-evgirias-sto-marousi-itan-emvoliasmenoi/

Five out of seven injected doctors in Chamarajanagar district, India, tested positive days after the jab. https://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/bangalore/five-vaccinated-doctors-test-positive-for-covid-19/article33710589.ece

The stories are literally hundreds and they remind me of the story of the Australian jab which caused the "vaccinated" to test positive for HIV antibodies afterwards, although that injection used a different technology from the Pfizer one.

Usually, if a rapid test is positive, they confirm it with a PCR test since it is considered "the gold standard" of determining an "infection" with the virus. So I would expect that in most of these high profile cases a PCR test was done.

Unfortunately, I think that the only way to test whether one of these injections cause a positive PCR result, is to take the liquid from the bottle and run a PCR on it. Or sue Pfizer until they disclose what's in there. How do you think we can further investigate this?

  4. Here is another example of a large Covid outbreak in a California ER that occurred very shortly after vaccination. At least one person died. They blamed it on an 'inflatable costume' which seems absurd.

  5. Just popped in to say I got suspended from a online discussion board because I shared one of Dr. Nass's articles :)

    The reason: I'm "anti-vaxx".

The board owner claimed that mRNA vaccines have been researched for 30 years and there are no safety issues surrounding the COVID vaccines.

  6. What does it tell you if mRNA vaccines have been researched for 30 years and not a single one has been licensed?

  7. Is it a coincidence that all 3 new viral strains - UK, Brazilian and South African - occurred in the exact same 3 countries where Oxford/AstraZeneca ran their clinical vaccine trials? Seems plausible that selective pressure of the vaccine could have brought about these variations in the virus, rendering the vaccine ineffective.
